Negar Nosrat, Esq.

Hi I am Negar . I am delighted to assist you in your family formation journey! I have assisted with hundreds of surrogacy contracts and pre-birth orders and love the wonderful and complex world of assisted reproductive technologies (ART), reproductive rights and bioethics. After graduating from UCLA Law (2004) with formative experiences at Yale and the Sorbonne, I spent a decade as General Counsel for a retail chain I co-founded, mastering the art of contract negotiation and business management. But it was my Master’s in Spiritual Psychology and Consciousness, Health & Healing that revealed my true calling: guiding families through life’s most vulnerable transitions with both legal rigor and emotional intelligence.
I litigated high-stakes toxic tort and employment cases at top LA firms, and assisted in family law cases—helping clients with divorce, child custody, prenups, with a collaborative approach. In 2016 an in-house role at a leading fertility agency introduced me to the world of assisted reproductive technology (ART) law. I discovered the profound privilege of building families and advocating on behalf of the "one in eight
In 2022, I brought my skills to the public interest sector, advocating for refugees and asylum seekers—a role that deepened my commitment to access, equity, and ethical advocacy. Today, with Nosrat Law, I merge these passions:
Third-Party Reproduction: Surrogacy, egg/sperm donor agreements, and ART contracts grounded in bioethics and fairness.
-
Immigration for Families: Uniting or protecting families through visas, asylum, and citizenship.
-
Holistic Family Planning: Prenups, mediation, and guardianships that honor your values.
-
Business Acumen: I draft contracts that anticipate risks (thanks to my GC days).
-
Healing-Centered Advocacy: My psychology training helps diffuse conflict in surrogacy/divorce cases.
-
Fierce Social Justice Lens: Whether fighting for a refugee or intended parent, I believe the law should empower, not exclude.
